Tarot Reading- 12/21/20

So I have actually not done a reading for myself in about 2 months which is definitely the longest I have gone without. Today I used three of my decks which included my Fairy Tarot Cards, Oracle of the Dragonfae, and The Wild Unknown Animal Spirit Deck. How I choose my decks is all based on what I am told intuitively.

So first off, I had 3 cards revealed to me from my first deck, Fairy Tarot Cards: (12) Awakening, King of Spring, and Two of Summer.

Awakening was basically telling me to change the way I’m looking at my “situation” and to embrace my uniqueness. Also that there is a “temporary pause in action”. My interpretation of this would be that my “situation” is actually just how I go about my days and live my life. Changing my perspective about the things I am choosing to do, along with remembering and reinforcing the ‘why’ to best benefit my return to my higher vibrational state. And along with this, comes embracing my talents and uniqueness like it said. This comes in the form of doing my hobbies. I am embracing who I am through my actions and passions. I believe the “temporary pause of action” is just the time in this space of transition for myself.

King of Spring“A financial windfall. Your leadership skills are needed now! An unexpected supporter of your cause.” My interpretation: I immediately thought of my shop. This card was definitely connected to my work with my shop and all that comes with it.

Two of Summer“Falling in love or making a serious commitment to someone. Forgiveness and the resolution of a problem. Don’t give up- your relationship can be healed.” My interpretation: So with this obviously I immediately thought of my partner Milan. I am so incredibly grateful for the relationship we have and the journey we have gone through together and I love them so incredibly much. This card was definitely a nice reminder because sometimes I get in my head a lot and spiral within my own fear. Fear of all kinds of different things that are irrational and that I know are not true. With that, the fear only perpetuates more fear if not handled, leading me to get worried with an abundance of worst case scenarios.

The next deck I pulled from was Oracle of the Dragonfae.

I get this card almost every time, and no it isn’t because I’m not shuffling enough. Today I actually pulled this card first and believed that idea, so I reshuffled and got the exact same one. Which has happened multiple times… understandably. The card is titled The Lovers at the Feast- conscious, aware eating. Milan and I like to laugh about this one because I get it so often. “Understanding that food is energy and that this energy becomes our body, extending out into our energetic field and influencing what we attract into our life. In many ways, this card indicates that we must not only eat with joy and relish; we must understand the healing power that food brings to the body.” Ah, yes. On a high note, I have doing extremely well with the BED. Through the past few months, I have been consciously transitioning and training myself to living how I truly want. And while I still have troublesome days, there is an enormous difference. I am so, so, so grateful, but I’ll save the rest of this topic’s story for another post. Even with that all being said, there is still work that needs to be done. I suppose lately I have had a little bit of a hard time having balanced eating. I am not engaging in any ED behavior, however I have not prioritized balance as much as is probably needed. And this is just because my mind hasn’t been caring too much about it. Saying things like “well it doesn’t even matter what you choose to eat.” but it does, and I know that. Sometimes my mind just likes to convince me otherwise. I can still listen to my cravings while also having a healthy balance and doing what is best for my body, spirit, and mind.

And lastly, The Wild Unknown Animal Spirit Deck.

Just like the Fairy deck, I pulled three cards. The difference however, is that these referred individually to my past, present, and future. Past- Peacock, Present- Tarantula, and Future- Phoenix.

My two main animal spirits in this life are the dragon and the phoenix. Many come into our lives for a specific, unique reason, however these two, especially the dragon….. they stay. In a way, they are a part of me and my deeper identity.

Peacock (past)- “inner- beauty, compassion, assimilator of anything” This card talks on how beauty, while thought to be derived from the outside, instead resides within and “extends outward indefinitely”. It is about the confident and advanced level of self acceptance and of others. When in balance, one is confident, while when out of balance, one is unable to “digest” situations.

Tarantula (present)- “at a crossroad, claiming life’s purpose” Right off the bat, the crossroad idea aligns with my previous cards and interpretations reminding me that right now is a time of transitioning into the highest version of myself. Funny, it also reminds me how today is December 21st, aka the 5D day if you will. Today is the starting day of tapping into that high power and connecting to oneself. It is not automatic, it takes work. Anyway, this card urges me to prioritize my deeper purpose, aka, working at that crossroad to get in touch with my soul. It is about following my intuition without hesitation. It also says to bring this idea into balance, it is recommended that I journal daily, which partly inspired me to write this post.

And lastly, Phoenix (future)- “freedom from suffering & past karma, reincarnation” At the beginning it states “The phoenix represents the transformation of our past. The essence of the phoenix is with us when we realize we have been suffering too long and something must change.” This time right now, ending off this crazy year, is about transformation and personal strength. “We no longer run from who we are, what has happened to us, or what we have done. The “stuck-ness” and “dead-weight” fall into the ashes and a lightness and clarity emerges. Beginning to recognize oneself again and tapping into the power.

“The fire of transformation is upon your wings”.
