Wow has this year been crazzzy! 2020 is almost over….
My life for the past month has basically revolved around two main things:
- My Etsy Shop (https://www.etsy.com/shop/LiveBeyondLimitation)
- Creating a balance between various aspects of my life
As you guys may know from my last post, I have been doing a ton of work on my shop. I’m so excited to announce that I’ve finally hit 50 sales!! Insanity. I’m so beyond thankful for the support and love from everyone. Crazy to think that I really do run my own business….
I’m almost always creating knew pieces of jewelry or decor. If I’m not, then I’m shipping packages or promoting the shop or buying new materials or photographing my pieces. I just love it all so much. Today I made baby snake earrings and a rainbow geode copper necklace. It’s incredible how much joy I get when I work.
Secondly comes the balance.
Honestly, it really is just trying to create a system of moderation with everything. For example, creating a balance of focusing on school, working on my shop, doing my other hobbies such as silks, singing, art, yoga, etc, eating, drinking water, etc, so I can live within my highest interest. I’ve been able to work on what I love and focus…. which is quite amazing. Life is pulling together for the end of 2020 going into the new year and i’m extraordinarily grateful.
In other words, I’ve finally been able to be myself again.
When coming from a place of gratitude and love, the things that tear down my spirit such as self judgement and/or punishment, obsession, addictive behaviors, etc, tend to subside. This is because I am consistently training myself to live in my highest potential. By focusing on You, without caring about what other people think, you are raising your spirit. By focusing and doing what You love, you are connecting to your soul. And as you do so, you are raising your vibrational frequency which automatically manifests more and more of the feelings and things that bring you joy. Remember, what you focus on expands. What you focus on, along with your reaction towards it, builds neural pathways that get more and more difficult to escape the more you act on them. This is why its so important to create good habits for yourself. If you don’t have motivation at first, remind yourself that it’s for the good of your future self. As I’ve strengthened this new path of growth, my negative views and feelings, such as that of self image judgement, as decreased immensely.
A real life example of this entire idea is homework. Gross, I know. However, we all know the two feelings that go with it. Either it is:
- Procrastinating/ waiting till the last minute
- Getting it done earlier to get it over with
Now, I myself still struggle with choosing 2., though we know the feelings procrastinating give us. It’s always in the back of your head, so no matter what you do, you are weighed down with the knowing that you still haven’t done the work. And the more you do this, the harder and harder it gets to choose 2., whether that be because it is now a habit, or because you’re more behind in that class. I use this example because we know how hard choosing to get it done earlier, or at a more reasonable time can be, while also understanding how it benefits our future self. Because not only do we get to live outside of the work stress&weight-free, but we also get a better learning experience.
Now of course not every day is the same. I definitely don’t always think that way. The important thing is to bring yourself back and remind yourself of why you are doing what you are. When I teach yoga, something I almost always say to my participants is: “If your mind has wandered, that’s ok, it will. What is important is that you bring it back and center your focus back on your breath.” Your mind will wander and what to focus and do other things. But the more you center it on one thing, the easier it will get and the bigger the reward. Going back to that yoga example, in meditation, you are directed to focus on your breathing. This is because it is a direct way to connect to your inner-self. However, in life, our minds are always going from place-to-place, idea-to-idea, that’s just how we’ve conditioned ourselves to live. That’s human life. But something truly magical happens when you connect to your soul. Expanding your consciousness. Living beyond the mind. The more you practice the focus, the easier the focus will be. The more you connect to your divine self, the faster you are able to return once going off track.
Excited to see what happens next on my journey 🙂
grateful for every one of you <3
